What is a stylish name?
A stylish name is a name made of 2 layers: a letter style and a symbol frame. The letter style comes from Unicode alphabets such as bold script (๐ข๐ฑ๐ช๐ญ๐ธ๐), fraktur (๐๐ฅ๐๐ก๐ฌ๐ด) or small caps (๊ฑสแดแด แดแดก). The frame is 1 to 6 symbols placed before, after or around the name. The generator combines 13 frames with 9 letter styles.

How long is a stylish name?
A stylish name is 1 to 8 characters longer than the plain name, because each frame adds symbols and spaces. Game nickname fields have short limits, so the frame size decides which styles fit. This table counts each style for the 6-letter name "Shadow":

The 2 counts differ because styled letters such as ๐ข sit outside the Basic Multilingual Plane and take 2 UTF-16 units each. Games that count UTF-16 units fill up faster than the character count suggests. How do I make a stylish name?
There are 4 steps to make a stylish name:
- Type the name into the box at the top of this page.
- Pick a row whose character count fits your game or app.
- Tap Copy on that row.
- Open the name or nickname field in the game or app and paste. If the field rejects it, try a row with fewer symbols.

What does ไบ mean in a name?
ไบ (U+4E97) is a CJK ideograph that is almost never used in modern Chinese text. Gamers use it only for its shape, which looks like a flaming emblem, usually at the end of a name such as ๊ฑสแดแด แดแดกไบ.
Why does my stylish name show squares in the game?
The game font has no glyph for one of the characters. Javanese ๊ง ๊ง, Balinese แญ and Bengali เฆเงฃ are the most common causes. Replace the frame with โ ๅฝก or โ, which most game fonts include, or read why fancy text shows boxes.
Can I put a stylish name in my Instagram or TikTok username?
