About Aesthetic Font Generator

Aesthetic Font Generator is a free tool site, online since 2024, that converts plain text into Unicode text styles for copying into social media profiles, posts and game names. It is run by an independent publisher, has no accounts and no paywall, and keeps every converter usable without signing up.

How the converters work

Every converter on the site maps letters to Unicode characters with a fixed table, in JavaScript that runs on your device. The text you type is never sent to a server, stored or logged. The pages are static files served from Cloudflare's network, and each page contains its example output in the HTML, so the content is readable even before the script loads.

The converters follow 3 rules:

  1. Real Unicode characters only. A letter with no styled version in Unicode stays plain instead of being replaced by a look-alike from another alphabet. The exception is the look-alike styles, which say so on their own pages.
  2. No characters most devices cannot draw. Characters added to Unicode recently, such as small capital Q (Unicode 11.0) and superscript q (Unicode 14.0), are left out because they show as boxes on most devices.
  3. Deterministic output. The same input gives the same output, except the glitch converter, which offers a button for new random marks.

Where the facts on this site come from

Unicode facts, such as code point ranges, missing letters and normalization behavior, are checked against the Unicode Character Database version 18.0 (September 2026) and Unicode Technical Report #25. Platform facts, such as field limits and allowed characters, come from 3 source types, ranked by reliability:

  1. Official: the platform's help center, developer documentation or public validation endpoint. Help pages that load only with JavaScript were read from Internet Archive snapshots of the official page.
  2. Secondary: agreeing third-party sources, such as major tech publications. Pages label these numbers as secondary.
  3. Unverified: conflicting or low-quality sources. These are not published as facts; pages say that no official rule exists.

Screen reader behavior comes from published test results by accessibility consultant Adrian Roselli (2021 and 2025), cited on the fancy text accessibility page. All platform facts were last checked on 5 November 2026. Platforms change their rules without notice, so a limit that changed after that date is a correction worth reporting.

How to report a correction

Corrections to a platform rule, a broken style or a character that displays as a box can be sent to hello [at] nichesitegrowth [dot] com. Include the page, the device and app version, and what you saw. Confirmed corrections are applied to every page that repeats the fact.
